Every remarkable tree has a story

Trees are living monuments. They cool our streets, shelter biodiversity, store carbon, protect our soils, replenish groundwater, and connect generations of people with nature.

Pune Tree of the Year invites residents to notice the extraordinary trees around them—from ancient native trees and neighbourhood landmarks to trees with unusual forms, histories or ecological value.
